HELPED THESE BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GUYS. I WILL BE POSTING NEW PICTURES OF THEM SHORTLY.
These 5 beautiful babies were left in a dumpster
to die. We have taken them in, but our rescue is completely out of money.
If you are able to donate, even a few dollars will help!
Though we are not a cat rescue, we have taken in 7 kittens and 1 adult cat. They only had a few days
left to live and they are all so sweet and adoptable. Each cat / kitten needs $80.00 of vet work to vaccinate, spay and neuter them. We simply don't have
the funds to give them the care they need. If you can sponsor a cat or donate to their vet care please help them. They are
all for adoption as well and are very affectionate, loving kittens.
CALLING ALL TEACHERS
Something we have been hoping to do at NMAR for quite some time is to combine
education and fund raising. Pennies for Puppies is a program that will begin in one of the CMS Pilot Schools school
Dec. 1 under the direction of one of our long time volunteers. Gunny's mother recently incorporated our voting for Gunny contest
into the school in several ways: she was able to promote community service, a lesson in pet care, teach the children
about the voting process and even include a geography lesson, showing all the states, and countries that Gunny had votes
from. On the tail end of that we are starting Pennies for Puppies. If you are interested please write for more information
about how you might help NMAR as well as have a great, and fun learning experience for your students.

NMAR Has a Kitty!!!!
Frampton is the coolest cat EVER. He is loving and sweet and doesn't do that
aloof kitty thing. He is looking for a home or foster. 1yr old, has all vet work done. If you can help please fill out an
application.

We are no longer located at the old facility in Harrisburg, NC. Our dogs are located in various foster homes.
Please contact us if you would like to meet one of the dogs or puppies.
