We are starting a fundraiser!  Recycling cell phones and digital cameras. If your business will allow us to send a box and let volunteers drop off the phones at your location. We will make a list of businesses and list them online where dropoffs can be made. When the box is full you close it up, postage is already on the box. Just call Fed-Ex or UPS to pick it up. If you would like to get a box for your business, please write to Terry at . She will call you to get the address to mail the box to.

WHY SHOULD YOU RECYCLE?

Cell phones contain lead, arsenic, mercury and other hazardous toxins that leach into the environment through our landfills

200 million Americans have a cell phone.  Americans buy a new cell phone every 9-18 months

One cell phone, if thrown away, can pollute 40,000 gallons of ground water.

IMPORTANT: Limit per box is 20 phones. Wrap phones in paper please. A completed packing list must be included in every shipment of donated items. Recycling for Charities is not responsible for shipments that do not include a completed packing list.
